The NAEMO network would like to invite you to join us at our upcoming workshop “Defining barriers and identifying solutions for mussel aquaculture expansion” This will be a half-day workshop on Wednesday 24th March at 12.30-15.30 GMT (+1hr CET) at the 113th NSA Virtual Annual Meeting, March 22nd-25th 2021.
The workshop aims to bring together perspectives from across the sector (industry, research, policy/governance) to jointly identify and discuss barriers for sustainable expansion of mussel aquaculture whilst identifying potential solutions and routes to sector development.
The workshop will include i) NAEMO network members outlining barriers to development, ii) breakout groups and iii) an interactive plenary session to summarise the main findings which will be summarised in a policy brief to highlight development needs to strengthen the sector.
