Bangor University secures funding for new Research Hub

The EU funding will support scientific research and technology in establishing the University’s Shellfish Centre to help grow the industry in Wales. Based at the Marine Centre Wales, the Shellfish Centre will build on Bangor University’s excellence in coastal and marine sciences.

The Shellfish Centre RD&I operation is part-funded by the EU’s West Wales and the Valleys European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Operational Programme through the Welsh Government.
